Be sure to purchase from a breeder that belongs to a National or International Australian labradoodle club.   These Clubs have rules their members must follow with regards to health testing.  Your puppy's parents must be DNA and OFA tested for known health issues. If the tests are not done, their  litters cannot be registered. Be sure your puppy is from registered parents and that your puppy's litter is registered.  If they are not, ask why and maybe follow up with a phone call or email to their Club's registry.
